Coco Chanel女士人生的起起伏伏一直是很多作者喜歡寫作的話題，今秋有一本名為“Coco Chanel:私密的人生”的新書也將上市，同樣以Coco的生活為題材。
作者Lisa Chaney聲稱自己有確切的證據可以證明Coco曾使用藥物，是一個雙性戀者，還曾和已婚的Salvador Dali有婚外情。
在周四由Viking發出的一封郵件中寫道：“Lisa Chaney聲稱自己有證據可以證明Coco Chanel的德國情人Hans Gunther von Dincklage曾是二戰中納粹組織的奸細。Coco女士是否知曉此事不得而知，但是二戰之后，她曾在瑞士居住過一段時間，以躲避對她的有關法律追究。”
Lisa Chaney的宣傳商們目前拒絕有關采訪，該書預計在11月份出版。

We know for a fact that she had a relationship during the war with a German aristocrat she had met in Paris in the 1930s. The timing of this romance with a German was unfortunate even if Baron Von Dincklage's mother was English and their relationship started before the war.
